About The Position

This opportunity resides with All-Domain Operations (ADO), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. All-Domain Operations comprises multi-domain operations, platforms and logistics, and intelligence operations. HII designs, develops, integrates and manages the sensors, systems and other assets necessary to support integrated ISR operations and accelerated decision-making. With data fusion and mission management capabilities for the Department of Defense, the combatant commands and the intelligence community, HII advances the mission around the globe. HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a Operations Research Analyst who integrates directly with Combatant Commands (CCMDs), SOUTHCOM, and interagency partners to drive, refine, and support emerging and time‑sensitive intelligence requirements. The role applies expertise in operations, intelligence analysis, data‑driven methodologies, and collection strategy to improve mission outcomes across counterdrug, counter‑TCO, and counterterrorism efforts. The analyst provides technical guidance, develops site‑specific continuity procedures, and synchronizes intelligence requirements between the customer and the GOST analytical support cell. This position fuses multi‑discipline intelligence sources, identifies and evaluates data streams, and applies advanced research and analytical methods to assess threat networks and operational patterns. Leveraging commercial, open‑source, HUMINT, SIGINT, law enforcement, and geospatial data, the analyst produces comprehensive network analysis, tailored data‑visualization products, and actionable intelligence reporting. All products undergo rigorous QA/QC to ensure clarity, accuracy, and analytic rigor. This requisition supports hiring at multiple experience levels. Final placement will be determined based on the selected applicant’s qualifications, experience, and skill sets.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in intelligence analysis, OSINT, all‑source analysis, or operational intelligence support.
  • Experience supporting CCMDs, SOUTHCOM, law enforcement, or interagency operations.
  • Strong understanding of intelligence requirements management, targeting processes, and multi‑INT fusion.
  • Proficiency in OSINT tools, commercial intelligence platforms, data‑analysis methods, and geospatial applications.
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing FTO and TCO networks within the SOUTHCOM AOR.
  • Ability to conduct advanced data mining, structured analytic queries, and multi‑source research.
  • Strong writing, briefing, and analytical tradecraft skills consistent with ICD‑203 standards.
  • Experience performing QA/QC on intelligence products.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in high‑tempo, mission‑driven environments.
  • Must possess and maintain a Top-Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate with CCMD, SOUTHCOM, and interagency partners to identify, refine, and support high‑priority intelligence requirements.
  • Conduct all‑source research and network development analysis on designated Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTOs) and Transnational Criminal Organizations (TCOs) within the SOUTHCOM AOR in support of Operation SOUTHERN SPEAR.
  • Apply operational research methodologies and analytical expertise to inform mission planning, targeting, and intelligence production.
  • Evaluate HUMINT, SIGINT, and law enforcement intelligence reporting; assess credibility; corroborate findings; and provide structured feedback to collection and reporting elements.
  • Liaise with interagency HUMINT, CI, and law enforcement representatives to provide network briefs, respond to RFIs, close intelligence gaps, and coordinate collection support.
  • Serve as a liaison between the customer and GOST analytical support cell to synchronize intelligence requirements, data flow, and analytic outputs.
  • Fuse multi‑discipline intelligence sources to assess illicit networks, threat activity, and operational drivers.
  • Develop tailored analytic data‑visualization products on narcotics‑trafficking networks for inclusion in Battle Update Briefs to the SOUTHCOM Combatant Commander, adhering to ICD‑203 analytic tradecraft standards.
  • Conduct advanced data mining, research, and structured queries using commercial, open‑source, and geospatial data.
  • Support SOUTHCOM target nominations, target significance statements, and lead‑data vetting.
  • Produce high‑quality written intelligence products aligned with mission requirements and operational timelines.
  • Perform comprehensive QA/QC of intelligence products to ensure accuracy, clarity, and analytical soundness.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of emerging OSINT tools, analytic methodologies, and data‑exploitation technologies.
