About The Position

OCT Consulting is a business management and technology consulting firm that supports Federal Government clients. We provide consulting services in the areas of Strategy, Process Improvement, Change Management, Program and Project Management, Acquisition/Procurement, and Information Technology. OCT currently has an opening for an Operations Research Analyst to work with our federal client. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• A Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) is required with a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience. Master’s degree (MA/MS), with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience may be substituted for a formal degree.
• Relevant experience includes data analysis, performance management, business intelligence, and dashboard development.
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in support of federal government agencies (such as USCG or DHS).
• Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate (PL-300)
• Must be able to undergo and successfully complete a Homeland Security Presidential Directive (HSPD)-12 qualifying Tier 2 background investigation for Common Access Card (CAC) issuance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain performance dashboards and program reports.
• Translate business requirements into KPIs.
• Analyze data to identify trends and insights.
• Provide clear, actionable data visualizations using tools such as Power BI.
• Support strategic planning and performance management initiatives.
