About The Position

Manages and supervises the activities of supervisors and leads as well as non-exempt staff in various areas of banking operations to include Loans, Deposits, Payments Call Center and other support services. Manages the daily work-flow of a group of team members and ensure the assigned area is appropriately staffed. Plans and coordinates activities within the assigned area.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline.
  • Six years of banking and/or loan operations experience and two years in a management role OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to see objects up close or at a distance, use peripheral vision, identify basic colors
  • Use of Hands/ability to reach

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the activities of an assigned group of documentation specialists.
  • Assigns and monitors the work flow and ensures performance standards are maintained.
  • Ensures documentation is processed in line with established compliance guidelines, firm policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitors and measures team member performance criteria (i.e. error rates).
  • Ensures performance criteria is maintained within acceptable guidelines.
  • Addresses performance issues as deemed appropriate.
  • Maintains a high production performance standard within the assigned area.
  • Ensures team members are knowledgeable of performance expectations and measurement tools.
  • Continuously looks for opportunities for the improvement and simplification of processes to enhance response time and to identify opportunities for increased efficiency.
  • Manages staffing and budget considerations for the department.
  • Manages the time and attendance system for all team members.
  • Assists management in the development and implementation of new policies, procedures and processes.
  • Assists team during peak times with daily tasks and responsibilities.
  • Addresses calls or questions which may challenge the operations processes or requirements.
  • Assists in training new team members and may develop and compile training reference materials.
  • Provides leadership, direction and growth opportunities to members of the department, performing those responsibilities in accordance with the Firm's policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsible for interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning or directing work, appraising performance, disciplining team members and resolving problems.
  • Works with the Human Resources Department to resolve more complex team member-related issues.
  • Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role.
  • Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Firm authority in a timely fashion.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
