Based in Montreal and reporting to the Director of Projects, the Project Manager – Operations is responsible for the successful delivery of assigned projects (capital projects, tenant improvements, construction projects, etc.) and ensures that projects are completed in accordance with the defined scope, budget, applicable codes, and contractors’ health and safety requirements.

Requirements

  • College diploma (DEC) in Architectural Technology, Construction, Engineering, or a related field;
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a similar role;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Project.

Nice To Haves

  • LEED or PMP certification is considered an asset;

Responsibilities

  • Plan and oversee the full execution of assigned projects. Projects managed in this role generally involve moderate complexity, risk, and exposure;
  • In collaboration with project stakeholders, define the project scope, expected deliverables, and requirements;
  • Assist in the implementation of project plans;
  • Establish resource and budget requirements, cost estimates, and project timelines;
  • Assess project risks and develop and implement mitigation and emergency response plans;
  • Keep appropriate stakeholders informed of project status and progress;
  • Ensure projects are completed within established timelines, in accordance with the defined scope, budget, and requirements, and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and environmental, health, and safety standards;
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety management standards;
  • Participate in the administration of various contracts;
  • Assist in the preparation of tender documents and calls for bids.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients;
  • Collaborate on issue resolution, manage client expectations, and ensure client satisfaction;
  • Maintain and update project files and records;
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
