Operations Project Manager

About The Position

Q2 is seeking a Project Manager for its Integrated Services team to lead complex, date-driven client delivery projects and multi-workstream initiatives. The work focuses on core conversions, bank and credit union acquisitions, platform migrations, and other multi-vendor implementations with fixed go-live dates and direct member impact. The role may lead several engagements concurrently and shift between conversion work and other complex client delivery as demand changes. The Project Manager turns ambiguity into an actionable plan, secures resources and commitments, and keeps clients, vendors, and executives aligned on shared delivery dates. The role coordinates dependencies across clients, Q2 delivery and technical teams, product and program leaders, and third-party vendors; resolves resource conflicts across concurrent projects; and establishes testing and acceptance standards for mock runs, rehearsals, and cutovers, including clear go/no-go decisions. The Project Manager advises client executives, manages scope and costs when estimates are preliminary, and communicates candidly when a project is off track. This is a delivery leadership role rather than a technical role. The Project Manager works alongside implementation engineers, business analysts, data migration, and development teams, and needs sufficient understanding of data mapping, test environments, and integrations to ask informed questions, keep owners accountable to dates, and identify risks early. The role requires direct experience leading at least one complex cutover through testing and release, such as a core or platform conversion, merger or acquisition integration, large data migration, or major production go-live. The Project Manager is also expected to mentor emerging project managers and use AI-enabled tools to improve planning, risk identification, and stakeholder communication. Responsibilities also include analyzing operational data, developing reports and dashboards for KPIs and program health, building what-if models for project P&L and resource allocation, improving processes, and coordinating major financial, technological, operational, and governance transitions. The position requires fluent written and spoken English and authorization to work for any U.S. employer; visa sponsorship is not available.
