About The Position

The role of Operations Project Manager directly supports the company’s mission to develop and deliver clean power plants that make 100% renewable energy a reality for the world. As an Operations Project Manager, you will be responsible for conducting and leading the execution readiness process by collecting, analyzing and shaping the operations strategies with his/her team to ensure the operations readiness and handing over to the Construction team in charge of the project for execution phase.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business or equivalent work experience
4+ years of equivalent work experience
Familiarity with the full life cycle of power projects and business development
Excellent written and oral communications skills with a proven track record in successful project planning
Working understanding of cost accounting, budgeting, and contract implementation
Excellent problem-solving/analytical skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under limited supervision
Knowledge of financial management
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and customers.
Proficient in MS Office applications (i.e. excel, word)
Driving is an essential function of the job. Must possess a full valid driver’s license and be insurable under our auto insurance policy. This position will be subject to periodic driver’s abstract checks to confirm continued insurability.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of and commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
Proactively identify and mitigate potential safety hazards.
Properly use applicable safety equipment, including but not limited to eye protection, hearing protectors, steel-toe boots, and hard hats. Loose-fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.
Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure a safe working environment.
Speak and understand English fluently to effectively communicate safety and job-related information, follow safety instructions, and collaborate with English-speaking supervisors and team members.

Responsibilities

Coordinate all the departments that are considered as primary activities in the value chain (Safety, Planning, Logistics, Material Management, Quality, Construction and Commissioning).
Responsible for controlling and updating in a weekly basis the project execution readiness template by filling out the different task’s deadlines, progress and managing the alarms to control the deviations vs the baseline.
Responsible for controlling and updating the weekly/monthly execution readiness KPIs dashboard.
Responsible for performing the Execution Readiness tasks assigned to the Construction team until the site team is identified.
The Operations PM is the link between PMEPC and Nacelles and Blades GLFs to control the readiness of the main components. This task is carried out through PCT department that is represented in the execution readiness round table.
Offsite support to the projects in execution as needed.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
