The Operations Project Manager will be responsible for the preparation and execution of capitalization projects and maintenance in collaboration with the corporate engineering team. Requirements

Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience required.
Proven project management experience within the food manufacturing industry required.
An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may also be considered.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automated Production Engineering, or another related field is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

Lead project preparation activities, including analysis and definition of project phases.
Manage project planning activities, including proposals, budget estimates, technical specifications, vendor quotations, and contractor selection.
Oversee the execution of project work while ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards, in collaboration with various internal stakeholders.
Monitor and control project budgets and schedules.
Compile and/or prepare project closeout documentation to ensure an effective handoff to internal clients.
Evaluate and/or design equipment to improve production performance while maintaining quality standards.
Provide operational support during the startup of new equipment as well as during regular production activities.
