About The Position

Ionic Digital is looking for an Operations Project Manager to help drive cross-functional execution as the Company advances its transition from bitcoin mining to high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructure. This role is ideal for a hands-on project manager who can bring structure to complex workstreams, coordinate across internal teams and external partners, and keep critical systems, site, logistics, and operational projects moving on schedule.

Requirements

  • 4-7 years of experience in project management, operations, or related roles spanning IT, systems, physical infrastructure, construction, industrial facilities, warehousing, logistics, or data centers.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate technical workstreams across developers, integration specialists, IT operations, external consultants, and business stakeholders.
  • Experience managing projects end-to-end, including schedules, budgets, vendors, contractors, risks, dependencies, and delivery milestones.
  • Comfort working on compliance-driven or deadline-sensitive projects where requirements may be set by external advisors, auditors, or control owners.
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and external partners without direct authority.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to keep leadership informed through clear project updates and status reporting.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to West Texas as project needs require.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SOX, audit remediation, controls implementation, or other compliance-readiness project work.
  • Experience with warehouse, office, construction, industrial facility, data center, or site development projects.
  • Experience with equipment logistics, asset disposition, facility transitions, or inventory management processes.
  • Familiarity with business productivity platforms, systems integrations, security services, or AI tooling deployments.
  • Experience supporting client readiness, deployment planning, infrastructure planning, or operational site coordination.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, growing organizations or companies undergoing operational transformation.
  • PMP or comparable project management certification is a plus, but demonstrated delivery experience is valued over credentials.

Responsibilities

  • Project-manage systems remediation and compliance readiness work, including tracking gaps, owners, deadlines, dependencies, and evidence through to completion.
  • Coordinate execution across internal IT operations, developers, integration specialists, external consultants, and business stakeholders to keep technical workstreams sequenced and unblocked.
  • Manage rollout and adoption of business productivity applications and operational tooling, including user coordination, licensing support, and implementation tracking.
  • Coordinate security services workstreams, including access control, monitoring, and vendor-delivered security capabilities, in partnership with IT and governance leads.
  • Support AI implementation initiatives and other technology objectives for internal operations by keeping pilots and deployments aligned with business priorities.
  • Coordinate with Finance, SOX consultants, and controls specialists on compliance-related project requirements while supporting execution and implementation activities.
  • Manage planning and execution of warehouse and office buildout activities, including scoping, contractor coordination, permitting support, build activities, and occupancy readiness.
  • Coordinate ongoing use of warehouse and office space, including space allocation, physical security, access, and day-to-day site logistics.
  • Track project budgets, timelines, vendor accountability, risks, dependencies, and status reporting across assigned operational workstreams.
  • Manage logistics related to clearing non-miner equipment from existing warehouse space, including inventory, disposition planning, buyer and hauler coordination, and proceeds tracking.
  • Support planning for future miner asset disposition by helping establish inventory discipline, valuation support, vendor relationships, and repeatable disposition processes.
  • Support prospective HPC client readiness activities, including capacity assessments, site walkthroughs, deployment timelines, infrastructure requirements, and execution planning.
  • Coordinate with project managers in the development office to align site activities, schedules, dependencies, and operational priorities across key assets.
