KBR is seeking an Operations Program Analyst to join our team supporting PMA-265 F/A-18 and EA-18G Weapons Systems Integration (WSI) integrated Product Team (IPT) at the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIRSYSCOM) at Patuxent River, MD. The selected candidate will provide direct business, acquisition, program management, technical service support, and day-to-day operations support. The F/A-18 and EA-18G Program Office (PMA-265) provides critical current and future capabilities in the form of total life cycle support management (cradle to grave) for the F/A-18A-D Hornet, F/A-18E/F Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler weapons systems. PMA-265 is responsible for acquiring, delivering and sustaining the F/A-18 and EA-18G aircraft, ensuring mission success for U.S. Navy and Marine Corps aviators, as well as international partners to include Australia, Canada, Finland, Kuwait, Malaysia, Spain and Switzerland. Must be a self-starter who requires limited oversight. Strong organizational skills, communication and problem solving are a must. This is an “in office” only position with situational tele-work authorized some travel may be required.

Requirements

  • Active DoD Secret Security clearance.
  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Journeyman - 3 to 10 years of combined experience performing duties described in the functional description.
  • Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives.
  • Analyzes requirements, status, budget and schedules.
  • Performs management, technical, or business case analyses.
  • Collects, completes, organizes and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs.
  • Tracks program/project status and schedules.
  • Government-institute processes apply for documentation, change control management and data management.
  • Journeyman - BA/BS degree.
  • Associate’s Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree, or Four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Must be highly proficient Microsoft Office 365 (Word; Excel; PowerPoint; Outlook).
  • Acquisitions Management System, and the Defense Travel System (DTS).

Responsibilities

  • PMA265 Weapon System Integration (WSI) Integrated Product Team (IPT) Operations Program Analyst is intended to be a strategic partner who frees the IPT Leadership to focus on high-level decision making while ensuring the IPTs operations run efficiently and effectively by managing day to day operations across the IPT and providing program management, business and acquisition continuity in the absence of the IPT Lead.
  • The Operations Program Analyst is responsible for coordinating Government/Contractor staffing requirements, responses to data drills, and technical evaluations between leadership, departments, and external partners to align goals and resolve operational issues while ensuring tasks are completed on or before due date.
  • Captures action items and meeting minutes to prepare program briefings, status reports, point papers, Requests for Information (RFIs) and other documentation as required. Tracking program status, evaluating operational and technical alternatives, developing and tracking responses to program office operations tasking, and liaising with Level III Product Leads for timely submission of requirements.
  • Supports developing plans including budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements for the IPT programs. Makes recommendations in support of program execution, and out-year planning. Executes incoming drills and tasks from outside organizations and coordinates responses through OPS and PMA Leadership.
  • Supports analytic and process improvement techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives. Analyzes requirements, status, budget and schedules. Performs management, technical, or business case analyses. Collects, completes, organizes and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs.
