About The Position

Lonza has an opening for an Operations Production Specialist to join our growing team in Bend, Oregon. In this role, you will help ensure manufacturing operations run safely, efficiently, and in compliance with GMP standards. You will work across Operations, Quality, and MSAT to support production readiness, improve processes, and help deliver life-changing therapies to patients. This is a fully site-based role. Working together in person supports close, real-time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience working in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment, preferably within biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or medical device industries.
  • Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices, data integrity principles, and electronic batch records.
  • Experience supporting quality systems, investigations, or compliance activities.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with project management tools and continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage batch records, forms, logbooks, and other controlled manufacturing documents.
  • Prepare, review, and issue production documentation to support manufacturing readiness.
  • Review completed batch records and electronic data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and data integrity.
  • Support GMP compliance activities, investigations, corrective actions, and process changes.
  • Help maintain inspection readiness and support internal and external audits.
  • Lead or contribute to continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing initiatives.
  • Partner with Operations, Quality, and MSAT teams to deliver projects and improve site performance.
