About The Position

M.C. Dean is seeking an Operations Process Analyst to join their Security and Electronic Systems (SES) business unit. This role involves working within a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates, and maintains electronic security services. These services include intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, audio visual, IT systems, perimeter defense, and command and control systems for federal, local, and commercial customers in high-growth markets.

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain a top secret clearance is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience OR Associate’s degree with 6+ years of military experience.
  • Familiarity with systems architectures and process development practices.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint (site editing and management).
  • Exposure to computer screens for an extended period of time.
  • Sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to reach by extending hands or arms in any direction.
  • Finger dexterity for manipulating objects with fingers, for example, using a keyboard.
  • Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
  • Ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.
  • Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.
  • Ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.
  • Ability to identify and understand the speech of another person.
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite, specifically MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members on analytical efforts, product development, and customer communications preparation.
  • Structure and conduct research, including open source and enclave-specific research.
  • Analyze, document, and implement changes to processes and procedures.
  • Develop process flow diagrams to depict current “as-is” processes and conduct operational gap analysis.
  • Develop “to-be” process flow diagrams to propose as an effective way forward.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), user guides, policies, and directives.
  • Establish client relationships, assess client issues, and propose project solutions.
  • Review, coordinate, and summarize client correspondence to assist project leadership.
  • Design, analyze, and apply a variety of data collection and decision analytics processes.
  • Develop operational concepts and requirements that can be translated into technical requirements.
  • Prepare documentation, reports, and presentations defining problems, evaluation, and possible/recommended concepts or solutions.
  • Communicate thoughts creatively in both structured narrative and visual graphics.
  • Interact with leadership and staff personnel in both industry and government with professional etiquette.
  • Utilize MS Office suite, specifically MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
