About The Position

In this role, you will support both Silk Commerce and OverCast Digital, with responsibilities spanning executive support, people operations, recruiting, onboarding, internal coordination, and events. A significant and ongoing focus will be leading the Company’s Academy program, including recruiting, onboarding, and managing an intensive training cohort designed to develop early-career talent for the organization.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in HR, People Operations, Talent Development, or Training
  • Experience building or running structured training, internship, or academy-style programs
  • Strong recruiting, candidate evaluation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution
  • High emotional intelligence and strong communication skills
  • Experience in fast-paced, growth-stage environments
  • Familiarity with BambooHR or similar HR systems preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of TikTok Shop and social commerce trends
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Lark, and Slack

Responsibilities

  • Operate and manage, and continuously help improve the 3-month academy-style training program designed by leadership
  • Recruit, select, and onboard a small cohort for each cycle
  • Roll out structured training curricula covering strategy, social commerce, affiliate marketing, and client delivery
  • Track performance with performance evaluations and manage transition of top performers into full-time roles
  • Create a repeatable and scalable model for multiple academy cycles per year
  • Partner with leadership to align academy outcomes with company hiring needs
  • Lead recruiting coordination, candidate screening, and onboarding across both companies
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records (BambooHR)
  • Develop, document, and enforce internal HR policies and procedures
  • Administer benefits and respond to HR-related inquiries
  • Support full employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and updates
  • Provide calendar management, scheduling, and executive support for the CEO
  • Draft, proofread, and distribute internal and external communications
  • Track reminders, follow-ups, and action items for leadership
  • Ensure smooth information flow across teams and departments
  • Coordinate office operations including supplies, snacks, and recurring orders
  • Plan and execute internal team events, offsites, and celebrations
  • Manage logistics for career fairs, external events, and staff travel
