About The Position

ANSER is seeking an Operations Officer to support the Marine Forces Pacific (MARFORPAC) G-35 Future Operations Directorate. In this role, you will provide senior-level operational and administrative support to the G-35 Director, Deputy Director, and branch heads by coordinating Directorate activities, managing battle rhythms and meetings, tracking staff actions, and developing and reviewing executive-level future operations products that support senior Marine Corps and Pacific Command leadership.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • 20+ years of military service in operational positions.
  • Military service at the O-4/O-5 commissioned officer, E-7/E-9 enlisted, or W-1/W-3 warrant officer level.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Completion of Command and Staff College.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting Marine Corps, Combatant Command, or other Department of War operational organizations.
  • Experience developing executive-level decision-support products, presentations, readiness reports, or operational planning products.
  • Experience coordinating senior leader battle rhythms, staff actions, operational planning teams, and cross-organizational working groups.
  • Experience managing classified information and coordinating meetings or video teleconferences across multiple classification levels.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to review, synthesize, and present information for general and flag officers.
  • Demonstrated discretion, tact, professionalism, and sound judgment when supporting senior military and civilian leaders.
  • Familiarity with emerging artificial intelligence-enabled systems and the ability to learn and incorporate new technology into daily operations.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for G-35 visitors and meeting requests involving the G-35 Director, Deputy Director, and subordinate branch heads, and represent Directorate leadership at designated battle rhythm events.
  • Track and follow up on Directorate tasks assigned by the G-3, Chief of Staff, and general officers at MARFORPAC, as well as tasks delegated by the G-35 Director and Deputy Director to subordinate branches.
  • Communicate verbal and written taskings from the G-35 Director and Deputy Director to branch heads and other Directorate personnel, and advise leadership on workflow assignments and workload balancing.
  • Coordinate and facilitate Operational Planning Teams (OPTs), Joint Planning Teams (JPTs), Operational Planning Groups (OPGs), Joint Planning Groups (JPGs), and other working groups, boards, bureaus, cells, and centers as directed by Directorate leadership.
  • Develop executive-level future operations presentations, readiness reports, and other decision-support products using inputs and products from subordinate G-35 branches.
  • Record, prepare, and disseminate meeting minutes and other Directorate records in accordance with leadership direction.
  • Review and edit branch-level products for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established Directorate, Marine Corps, and Combatant Command standards.
  • Manage Directorate meeting requirements, including conference room scheduling, online meeting invitations, master calendars, Secure Video Teleconferences (SVTCs) at appropriate classification levels, and Microsoft Teams meetings.
  • Maintain Directorate workflow products, records, calendars, and information management processes to support continuity of daily operations.
  • Safeguard sensitive and classified information and exercise appropriate judgment when handling confidential discussions and Directorate materials in accordance with Department of War policies and procedures.
  • Represent the G-35 Directorate with professionalism, tact, discretion, and sound judgment when coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
