About The Position

We are seeking an Operations Manager to join our Reidsville, NC team. The Operations Manager provides management and leadership direction for all manufacturing operational activities as required to meet company goals and objectives. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of a 24/7 manufacturing operation, including production, quality, maintenance, cost performance, and compliance with established safety policies, programs, and procedures.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 10+ years of management experience, with at least 5 or more of those years in a front-line manufacturing supervisor, department manager or plant manager role.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, communicates, and implements initiatives in alignment with company strategies and objectives to meet critical performance measures.
  • Ensures operations are compliant with all Company Safety Policies and Programs.
  • Promotes an employee-valued and involved work culture based on company core values, such as respect and dignity.
  • Builds strong, motivated teams driven to exceed personal, team, and company goals.
  • Manages all variable and fixed costs tied to the annual operational budget.
  • Provides short- and long-term leadership direction related to all aspects of the operation, including hiring, staffing, planning, project management, process changes, maintenance, spending, employee relations, and employee development.
  • Develops high leadership standards and drives process improvements as required to exceed goals.
  • Consults with leadership and hourly team members when troubleshooting problems or improving processes.
  • Delegates projects and assignments to meet deadlines while developing key staff.
  • Leads key staff meetings and process improvement meetings to gain consensus and prioritize assignments.
  • Manages processes as required to meet product quality standards for internal and external customers.
  • Serves as a key coordinator and approver for all major maintenance project work.
  • Develops and implements critical measurement reports as required to drive operational cost and efficiency improvements.
  • Reviews key performance data to recognize outstanding performance while identifying and correcting process and product issues.
