The Operations Manager reports directly to the Regional Operations Manager or Area Operations Manager and will oversee Lot Coordinators, operations, sales, and financials for respective areas. The Operations Manager will ensure all standards for professionalism, appearance, vehicle, work ethic, customer service, and workplace safety and cleanliness are always upheld. They will develop and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers. The role involves attending regional operations team weekly meetings, monthly meetings to review goals and expectations, and visiting all stores on a daily/weekly basis. The Operations Manager will also attend EchoPark conference calls weekly (when applicable) and hold in-person meetings with all associates to discuss issues, daily goals, constraints, and plans for all stores. Auditing nightly WIP emails/reports for opportunities of improvement, support needed, and/or overall location health is a key responsibility, along with replying to every store’s nightly WIP emails/reports a minimum once a week and sending weekly recap emails to store management for all stores. Ensuring daily billing at all locations in the region, working with management on proper budgeting, staffing, and planning, and reviewing monthly P&Ls are crucial. The role requires ensuring locations, visits, and calls are entered and notated in NetSuite, reviewing and processing requisition/SCF forms, and reviewing/correcting daily missing punch & punch changes. Submitting bi-weekly amex reports, monthly schedules to Human Resources by the 25th, and all payroll within assigned deadlines are also required. The Operations Manager will review and/or submit supply orders for all stores in the area, compile monthly Risk Compliance reports, and assist in all Accounts Payables/Receivables for the area. Keeping up with new products available by supplier and informing technicians is important, as is ensuring effective and efficient operations and proficiency in all Lot Coordinator duties. The role also involves ensuring the proper rollout of new products, policies, practices, and procedures, and communicating daily with management and Lot Coordinators. Providing important data and updates to management in a timely manner and performing other duties assigned by management are also part of the role.
