About The Position
We're looking for a results-driven Operations Manager to lead 2nd shift operations at our 100,000+ sq. ft. Eudora distribution center. This is a hands-on leadership role — you'll own daily operations, develop a high-performing supervisory team, and help drive the continued growth of a fast-paced, expanding facility.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a distribution, warehouse, or operations environment
- Proven ability to interpret data and use it to drive informed decisions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Nice To Haves
- Associate's Degree or higher
- Prior warehouse management experience
- Lean / Six Sigma certification or working knowledge
Responsibilities
- Directly oversee 2nd shift area supervisors managing 30+ warehouse employees
- Build and develop a management support team capable of meeting and exceeding customer service level requirements
- Lead staffing and workforce planning to meet daily operational demands
- Monitor floor activity and provide real-time support and coaching to associates
- Set team objectives, plan projects, and track performance against goals
- Ensure equipment is operational and proactively address any issues causing delays
- Identify and resolve logistical challenges quickly and effectively
- Collaborate cross-functionally with peer managers on products, shipping timelines, and distribution priorities
