About The Position

The Operations Manager is part of CLEAR’s airport leadership team, reports to the General Manager, and leads the daily operations of a team of hourly Ambassadors. The role supports efficient station operations and helps create an environment where Ambassadors can deliver security, customer service, and sales. It is a hands-on coaching role in a fast-paced airport environment, with at least 80% of time spent on the floor in a customer-facing setting.

Requirements

At least 3 years of leadership experience in a customer-facing operation, such as retail, restaurants, hospitality, or rental cars.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate, mentor, and influence others.
Solid leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in an ever-changing environment.
Experience with employee engagement, customer satisfaction, sales, and adherence to compliance standards.
Proficiency using technology daily at work.
Successfully complete a government background investigation.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to follow policies and procedures set by CLEAR, the airport, and state and federal regulations.
Availability to work a non-traditional schedule, including weekends, holidays, early mornings, and/or evenings.

Responsibilities

Support the General Manager in duties essential to the efficient operation of the station.
Ensure CLEAR and TSA policies and procedures are followed with the highest levels of security and integrity.
Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and developing Ambassadors, while supporting continuous learning and development.
Coach, mentor, and train the team to meet sales and customer service goals and standards.
Assist with employee relations matters and investigations as needed.
Analyze key metrics, customer feedback, and direct on-floor observations to inform decisions that improve team performance.
Build and foster internal and external stakeholder relationships and serve as a trusted member of the local station leadership team.
Spend at least 80% of working time on the floor in a customer-facing airport environment.
