Responsibilities

  • Manages and leads teams who perform a wide range of duties related to title operations, provide support to branches to clear title, and focuses on customers
  • Partners with and acts as a liaison between groups such as Examining and Underwriting to ensure that compliance, policy adherence, production goals, and timelines are met
  • Provides leadership and direction through senior managers or managers
  • Is accountable for the performance and results of a major part of the organization
  • Develops and executes strategy to achieve key business objectives
  • Decisions are guided by Stewart and business unit strategy and objectives
  • Applies in-depth knowledge of own function or major operational segment as well as business expertise to differentiate Stewart from the competition
  • Impacts results of a business unit, major market or enterprise-wide function
  • Evaluates key business challenges; directs the development of new or innovative solutions
  • Shapes the opinions of, and negotiates with, senior leaders; establishes collaborative relationships across the business and with external organizations
  • Leads a major part of the organization (function or significant market within a business unit, or an enterprise-wide sub-function); develops and executes long-term strategy to achieve key business objectives
