Requirements

  • Four to six years of progressive hotel or hospitality operations experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel operations, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Engineering, and guest services.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and supporting operational excellence.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze operational performance and implement process improvements.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency situations based on business needs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the hotel during the shift.
  • Ability to travel between hotel departments, guest areas, meeting spaces, and back-of-house operations as needed.
  • Ability to operate computers, telephones, mobile devices, and standard office equipment.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous supervisory or management experience in a full-service hotel preferred.
  • Experience using hotel property systems and standard business software preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the day-to-day operations of the hotel while supporting department leaders in delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Partnering with Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Engineering, Sales, and other departments to ensure seamless hotel operations.
  • Monitoring daily operations to identify opportunities for improvement while maintaining the highest service and operational standards.
  • Supporting department leaders through coaching, problem-solving, and operational guidance that promotes accountability and teamwork.
  • Responding to guest concerns and operational challenges with professionalism, urgency, and sound judgment.
  • Coordinating hotel operations during periods of high occupancy, special events, group arrivals, and VIP visits.
  • Monitoring guest satisfaction scores, operational metrics, and service standards to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Supporting staffing, training, and performance development initiatives that strengthen hotel operations and team engagement.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, safety procedures, brand standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Leading by example while creating a positive, service-driven culture where every team member feels valued and empowered.
  • Collaborating with executive leadership to achieve operational goals, financial performance, and exceptional guest satisfaction.
  • Taking pride in creating a hotel environment where guests receive outstanding service and team members thrive.
