Requirements
- Four to six years of progressive hotel or hospitality operations experience required.
- Strong knowledge of hotel operations, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Engineering, and guest services.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and supporting operational excellence.
- Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze operational performance and implement process improvements.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency situations based on business needs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the hotel during the shift.
- Ability to travel between hotel departments, guest areas, meeting spaces, and back-of-house operations as needed.
- Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to operate computers, telephones, mobile devices, and standard office equipment.
- Ability to maintain professionalism while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Previous supervisory or management experience in a full-service hotel preferred.
- Experience using hotel property management systems and standard business software preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Leading the day-to-day operations of the hotel while supporting department leaders in delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Partnering with Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Engineering, Sales, and other departments to ensure seamless hotel operations.
- Monitoring daily operations to identify opportunities for improvement while maintaining the highest service and operational standards.
- Supporting department leaders through coaching, problem-solving, and operational guidance that promotes accountability and teamwork.
- Responding to guest concerns and operational challenges with professionalism, urgency, and sound judgment.
- Coordinating hotel operations during periods of high occupancy, special events, group arrivals, and VIP visits.
- Monitoring guest satisfaction scores, operational metrics, and service standards to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Supporting staffing, training, and performance development initiatives that strengthen hotel operations and team engagement.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, safety procedures, brand standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Leading by example while creating a positive, service-driven culture where every team member feels valued and empowered.
- Collaborating with executive leadership to achieve operational goals, financial performance, and exceptional guest satisfaction.
- Taking pride in creating a hotel environment where guests receive outstanding service and team members thrive.
