About The Position

The Operations Manager in Risk Consulting partners strategically with consulting leadership to support strategic implementation and operational effectiveness. The role collaborates with functional areas across the practice to optimize resource and financial performance, minimize risk, and maximize client experience. It identifies process improvement opportunities, implements solutions, manages new service line development and systems implementations, and provides ongoing operational support and oversight. The position supports consulting leaders by helping translate strategic vision into action, managing initiatives, facilitating communication and leadership meetings, and contributing to growth strategies. It uses performance reports and systems to analyze financial results, monitor profitability and plan attainment, and provide leaders with business insights. The role also develops implementation plans and performance measures, supports change management, and provides operational team oversight, performance management, coaching, and development. RSM describes most roles as following a hybrid workstyle, with team members aligned to an RSM office and meeting in person when it best supports clients, teams, development, or relationship-building. Some roles may be virtual or primarily on-site based on role requirements, team priorities, and client needs.
