Tiffin Aire is based at the Seneca County Airport. Founded in 1968 by Dwight and Jeanne Gnepper. It began with only three employees, two single engine aircraft, two hangars, and an office. By 1996 Tiffin Aire offered aircraft charter, flight instruction and rental, aircraft sales, aircraft maintenance, parts and oil sales, and propeller/governor sales and service. De-ice boot sales/installation and the Tiffin Aire Tug were added to the company product line in later years. Tiffin Aire is now owned by Hartzell Propeller, LLC out of Piqua, Ohio. Responsibilities

  • Accountable for production planning, staffing, scheduling, workflow, productivity, quality, delivery, labor utilization, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner closely with Site Leadership, Quality, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, and other functional teams to ensure the operation meets business and customer objectives.
  • Lead through accountability, coaching, technical knowledge, sound business judgment, and strong communication while developing a high-performing team and fostering a culture of safety, quality, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Support the company’s operating model (SOAR) and contribute to the organization’s business value drivers, Profitable New Business, Productivity, Precision M&A, and Value-Based Pricing, through operational excellence, continuous improvement, collaboration, and customer focus.
  • Achieve production, safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and financial objectives.
  • Ensure safe and compliant execution of all MRO production activities.
  • Effectively manage production planning, scheduling, staffing, and resource utilization.
  • Foster strong employee engagement, accountability, retention, and development.
  • Consistently achieve customer commitments and turnaround-time expectations.
  • Effectively manage labor, materials, equipment, and production capacity.
  • Provide accurate production forecasting and communication of operational risks and constraints.
  • Drive improved productivity, efficiency, quality, and profitability through continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate effectively with Site Leadership and cross-functional partners.
  • Develop a high-performing production organization capable of supporting current and future business growth.
