About The Position

The Operations Manager (Non-Complex) role at Walmart focuses on leading and developing store associates to ensure compliance with company policies, exceptional customer service, and financial performance. Requirements

  • 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

  • Initiates, directs, and participates in community outreach programs.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures by holding associates accountable, analyzing reports, implementing asset protection and safety controls, maintaining quality assurance, overseeing safety and operational reviews, and developing action plans.
  • Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, listening, assigning duties, evaluating performance, providing recognition, setting clear expectations, and promoting a belonging mindset.
  • Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards by following the One Best Way service model, managing customer service initiatives, resolving customer issues, and providing process improvement leadership.
  • Assists the store manager in driving financial performance by ensuring sales and profit goals are achieved, reviewing P&L statements, controlling expenses, and developing plans to correct deficiencies.
  • Coordinates and completes job-related activities and assignments by developing stakeholder relationships, supporting plans and initiatives, identifying and communicating goals, building accountability, measuring progress, and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Upholds company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing action plans and supporting the Open Door Policy.
