About The Position

OnTrac is hiring an Operations Manager for its Nashville Hub. The Operations Manager will report to the Regional General Manager and be responsible for providing strategic leadership and overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, including the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of units and team members within the facility. The role also involves overseeing operations and any necessary satellite projects.

Requirements

  • GED/Diploma required
  • A minimum of 5 years management experience, 2 in a similar industry; or equivalent combination of both education and specific work experience
  • 6 years' experience in industry or related field; or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Experience with an independent contractor model; strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to inspire a shared vision, empower and engage a team
  • Strong organization and time-management skills utilizing MS Office Suite

Nice To Haves

  • bachelor's degree in Logistics or related discipline preferred
  • Last-mile delivery or Small Parcel experience highly desired

Responsibilities

  • Guide and direct facility management in the development, production, promotion, and financial aspects of the organization's services.
  • Direct, plan and budget preparation based on corporate goals and objectives.
  • Evaluate the results of overall operations regularly and systematically report these results to the Regional Operations and General Managers.
  • Responsible for maintaining engineered staffing levels for all positions, including coaching, skills development, rewards and recognition, performance management, and staff productivity for hourly and salaried positions.
  • Ensure adherence to all aspects of the contract and work with Vendors and Independent Contractors for accountability to the operating agreement.
