About The Position

The Operations Manager is responsible for executing the efficient functioning of the logistical and operational activities of the company. This includes but is not limited to the acquisition of raw materials, production of finished goods, and shipment of finished goods to customers, among other activities. The Operations manager is also required to manage the Company workforce to accomplish the operations of the Company.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work in both a team environment and also with minimal supervision.
  • Must be reliable, punctual and have excellent attendance.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to problem solve, analyze information, and demonstrate professionalism
  • Must display sophisticated writing and interpersonal communication skills.
  • This job operates in a clerical office and warehouse setting.
  • This role routinelyses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and scanners, and ability to operate this type of machinery is required.
  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
  • Non-Sedentary work: Exerting up to 80 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
  • Must be able to sit or stand for up to 8 hours a day.

Nice To Haves

  • At least 2 years of operations experience preferred.
  • Experience with heavy machinery, so experience with die cutters, slitters, and printers in preferred.
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online, Prodsmart, Amazon, Shopify and Shipstation preferred.
  • Bachelors in Business Administration or related field of study preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Demand planning and ordering of raw materials and warehouse materials, and management of such inventories.
  • Direct the production and shipping of goods.
  • Direct the operations teams and Team Members schedules.
  • Arrange for shipping of orders and goods as necessary.
  • Maintain, order, produce, and ensure sufficient stock and track Company inventories.
  • Assign tasks to Team Members as necessary to keep up with work flow.
  • Manage Team members to conduct efficient operations
  • Implement, maintain, and evolve Quality Control procedures.
  • Train new Team Members on their job tasks.
  • Ensure all Team Members abide by safety procedures.
  • Conduct daily meetings, attend weekly meetings.
  • Compile weekly report to keep executives informed of the day to day business.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
