About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring an Operations Manager II to support a new startup operation in Wellford, South Carolina. The role leads day-to-day warehouse operations, builds and develops high-performing teams, ensures customer satisfaction, and drives operational excellence in a fast-paced startup environment. The Operations Manager guides supervisors and indirect reports, establishes efficient workflows and labor plans, promotes safety and continuous improvement, and contributes to the successful fulfillment of customer orders. The organization emphasizes teamwork, associate development, training, and continuous improvement in a business-casual environment.

Requirements

At least 1 year of logistics industry experience.
At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Experience with P&L management, objective setting, and project management.
Experience in supply chain, logistics, distribution, or manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, coach, and develop a diverse team of supervisors and indirect reports, fostering inclusion and belonging.
Develop and implement efficient workflows, labor plans, standardized processes, and best practices to improve productivity and efficiency and reduce costs.
Uphold health and safety regulations and promote heightened safety awareness.
Compile reports on key performance indicators, including productivity and accuracy metrics, to inform decisions and support continuous improvement.
Promote open communication and collaboration among leadership and associates.
Partner with Human Resources and site leadership on hiring supervisors and provide input on candidate selection.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fulfill customer orders promptly and consistently.
Partner with customers and proactively address concerns to achieve exceptional customer satisfaction.
