Muncicpal Wastewater Operations Manager Are you a hands-on wastewater professional ready to take the next step into leadership? We’re looking for an experienced Operations Manager who knows the ins and outs of plant operations and is passionate about developing people, improving processes, and delivering dependable service.

Requirements

• 5+ years in wastewater operation
• Hands-on plant experience and leadership ability
• Highest level Louisiana wastewater operator certification
• Understand compliance, reporting, and regulatory requirements
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment where problem-solving and teamwork matter

• CDL a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of operators – hiring, coaching, mentoring, and growing the next generation of talent
• Oversee daily operations & maintenance of water and wastewater facilities
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, OSHA, DOT, and regulatory standards
• Conduct site visits, partner with maintenance teams, and keep equipment and systems running at peak performance
• Manage budgets, equipment, and capital planning for trucks, tools, and infrastructure
• Track performance, produce reports, and drive continuous improvement
• Collaborate with leadership and account managers to keep operations aligned and successful
