About The Position

The Operations Manager role involves initiating and directing community outreach programs, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and providing supervision and development opportunities for associates. Requirements

  • 2 years of college; OR 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience; OR 2 years' general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

  • Initiates, directs, and participates in community outreach programs.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures by holding associates accountable, analyzing reports, implementing asset protection and safety controls, maintaining quality assurance, overseeing safety and operational reviews, and developing action plans.
  • Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring, training, mentoring, listening, assigning duties, evaluating performance, providing recognition, setting clear expectations, and promoting a belonging mindset.
  • Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards.
  • Assists the store manager in driving the financial performance of the facility by ensuring sales and profit goals are achieved, reviewing P&L statements, controlling expenses, and developing action plans.
  • Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing stakeholder relationships, supporting plans, identifying goals, building accountability, measuring progress, and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Maintains and promotes the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and compliance.
  • Acts in a selfless manner and is consistently humble, self-aware, honest, fair, and transparent.
  • Delivers results while putting the customer first, considering how, where, and when customers shop, and applying EDLP and EDLC business models.
  • Makes decisions based on data insights and analysis, balancing short and long-term priorities.
  • Displays curiosity and a desire to learn, takes calculated risks, demonstrates courage and resilience, and encourages learning from mistakes.
