About The Position

This role is for an Operations Manager at a well-established commercial roofing and waterproofing contractor known for quality, safety, and large-scale projects. The company is values-driven and invests in its people and processes. The Operations Manager will lead all construction operations, ensuring profitable delivery of roofing and waterproofing projects. This includes managing and developing department heads, setting performance standards, and implementing systems and quality controls for on-time, on-budget, and to-spec project completion. The role also involves close collaboration with sales and estimating for coordination and partnering with senior leadership on strategy, forecasting, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Proven operations or construction management leadership, ideally in commercial roofing, waterproofing, or a related trade.
Track record of running multiple departments and hitting profitability, quality, and delivery targets.
Strong people leader who can set standards, develop managers, and hold a team accountable.
Confident with budgets, labor costs, and operational metrics, plus ERP and scheduling systems.
Bachelor's degree in construction management or equivalent experience.
Valid driver's license.
