About The Position

The Operations Manager role involves initiating and directing community outreach programs, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and providing supervision and development opportunities for associates. This role models exceptional customer service, assists in driving financial performance, and coordinates job-related activities. The Operations Manager also ensures compliance with company policies and supports the company's mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity. Key leadership principles include respecting the individual, acting with integrity, serving customers and members, and striving for excellence.

Requirements

  • 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.

  • General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports to include the responsibility of performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing

Responsibilities

  • Initiates, directs, and participates in community outreach programs.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures by holding associates accountable, analyzing reports, implementing asset protection and safety controls, maintaining quality assurance, overseeing safety and operational reviews, and developing action plans.
  • Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring, training, mentoring, listening, assigning duties, evaluating performance, and providing recognition.
  • Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards.
  • Assists the store manager in driving the financial performance of the facility by ensuring sales and profit goals are achieved, controlling expenses, and developing plans to correct deficiencies.
  • Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
