About The Position

Sky Zone is seeking an Operations Manager to lead daily execution and team success. This role involves supervising Team Leads and frontline team members, coaching in real time to foster a culture of accountability, energy, and care, and supporting hiring, onboarding, and training efforts. The Operations Manager will oversee daily park operations, including staffing, guest flow, inventory, and cleanliness, while collaborating with the General Manager on labor strategy, scheduling, and safety procedures. They will adapt to real-time challenges to ensure smooth operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences by ensuring guests feel welcome, safe, and supported. This includes leading guest recovery and training the team in urgency and empathy, as well as supporting birthday parties, special events, and high-volume guest flow. Additionally, the role requires championing safety and brand standards through conducting safety walkthroughs, supporting compliance, and maintaining clean, well-functioning facilities. The Operations Manager leads by example to create a worry-free, play-filled environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2–3 years of formal management or supervisory experience, including direct responsibility for leading teams, ideally in a high-volume, guest-facing industry such as hospitality, entertainment, retail, fitness, or restaurants.
  • Experience overseeing daily operations, managing teams on the floor, and adapting to shifting priorities in real time
  • Strong communication skills, you give feedback with care, build trust quickly, and know how to coach in the moment
  • Comfort with scheduling, labor targets, and supporting operational goals
  • A hands-on leadership style, you're not above jumping in to solve a problem, run a shift, or set the tone on a busy day.
  • Comfortable using technology and operational systems, with basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, POS platforms, scheduling tools, and reporting dashboards; quick to learn and apply new systems in daily operations.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
