About The Position

J Bell Services is seeking a dynamic Operations Manager and people leader to oversee daily office operations, cultivate a high-performing team, enhance customer experience, and establish the systems and accountability necessary for sustained growth. The ideal candidate will be adept at people management, problem-solving, process improvement, performance monitoring, and taking initiative. This role requires a balance of people leadership, customer service, operational efficiency, scheduling, revenue generation, employee administration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; 5+ years of administrative or operations management experience.
  • Proven experience managing multiple locations or teams across a region.
  • Strong leadership and ability to manage and develop staff across multiple offices.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor scheduling capacity and revenue opportunities by identifying open appointment times, recovering cancellations, and ensuring timely follow-up on leads and estimates. Support customer reactivation and outbound efforts while tracking booking, conversion, scheduling, and revenue-related performance.
  • Lead, coach, and develop CSRs, dispatchers, and other office staff by setting daily priorities, delegating responsibilities, and ensuring follow-through. Build a positive, accountable work environment through regular one-on-ones, performance conversations, recognition, and professional management of performance concerns.
  • Manage day-to-day HR administration, including weekly payroll and timecard review, PTO and attendance tracking, employee onboarding and offboarding, records and documentation, and policy communication. Provide support with employee coaching, corrective action, and performance-improvement processes as needed.
  • Improve office systems and workflows by developing SOPs, identifying recurring operational issues, implementing solutions, and training employees on established processes. Track key performance metrics and provide ownership with clear reporting on challenges, actions taken, results, and areas requiring attention.
