Requirements

  • Degree in engineering, industrial engineering, or business administration, ideally with strong technical competence in manufacturing and supply chain management.
  • Several years of international experience, preferably within the North American market.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Proven experience in team management, production optimization, project management, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Analytical and strategic mindset, combined with a hands-on mentality and excellent organizational skills.
  • Enjoy solving complex operational challenges and driving efficiency improvements.
  • Willing and able to commit to a multi-year assignment in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Assume full operational and strategic leadership of HORSCH LLC in North Dakota, USA, with responsibility for Production, Research & Development, and Supply Chain including Logistics.
  • Ensure efficient and innovative production processes, drive the development of new products, and maintain a robust and responsive supply chain.
  • Optimize workflows across departments, ensuring smooth coordination between production, supply chain, and logistics teams.
  • Ensure close collaboration with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to meet high-quality standards and delivery commitments.
  • Be responsible for the growth, management, and professional development of the teams, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with the German headquarters and maintain regular exchange with the respective managers in Canada.
  • Be accountable for continuous optimization of business processes to achieve operational excellence.
