Shift: Sunday - Thursday from 12:00AM to 8:30AM. Hours subject to change based on business needs. Compensation: The expected starting base pay range for this position is $96,600 - $120,750, with full potential base salary range over a successful candidate’s tenure in the position of $96,600 - $144,900. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other job-related factors.

Requirements

  • GED/Diploma required
  • A minimum of 5 years’ management experience, 2 in a similar industry; or equivalent combination of both education and specific work experience
  • 6 years' experience in industry or related field; or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Experience with an independent contractor model; strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to inspire a shared vision, empower and engage a team
  • Strong organization and time-management skills utilizing MS Office Suite

Nice To Haves

  • bachelor's degree in Logistics or related discipline preferred
  • Last-mile delivery or Small Parcel experience highly desired
  • You bring mechanical work experience that helps you contribute quickly to maintenance, repair, and inspection work.
  • You apply knowledge of OSHA requirements in daily work practices.

Responsibilities

  • Play a pivotal role in providing strategic leadership as well as overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day activities to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Managing personnel, implementing strategic processes, and sustaining a positive work culture within the warehouse.
  • Guide and direct facility management in the development, production, promotion, and financial aspects of the organization's services.
  • Direct, plan and budget preparation based on corporate goals and objectives.
  • Evaluate the results of overall operations regularly. Systematically report these results to the Regional Operations and General Managers.
  • Responsible for maintaining engineered staffing levels for all positions. This will include coaching, skills development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity for hourly and salaried positions.
  • Ensure adherence to all aspects of the contract and work with Vendors and Independent Contractors for accountability to the operating agreement.
