The Operations Manager, Procurement is responsible for engaging with team members, analyzing stakeholder needs, and fostering a climate of trust and respect. This role involves collaborating to achieve business goals, communicating complex information clearly and concisely, and preparing data-driven reports and recommendations. The manager will leverage data analysis tools to explore data, develop hypotheses, and present insights to influence strategic work. They will also identify and drive technology changes, recommend solutions to complex business issues, and translate business requirements into actionable projects. Additionally, the role involves managing warranty claims, overseeing work orders, assessing departmental goals, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements. The Operations Manager will also act as a liaison with vendors, resolve supplier issues, research alternative vendors, and manage contracts to ensure compliance. Budgeting responsibilities include documenting capital appropriations, producing budget reports, and examining expense management guidelines. The role requires using procurement systems, interpreting procurement benefits, organizing and extracting data for analysis, and creating analytics solutions. Facilitating contractual negotiations for projects up to $500K and supporting larger negotiations is also a key responsibility, ensuring adherence to company processes and values. The manager will document project plans, estimates, and status reports, and create communication plans to manage stakeholder expectations.
