About The Position
Laboratory Manager oversees the daily operations in a laboratory and is responsible for managing its staff and ensuring quality control in the lab procedures and techniques. They also handle administrative duties and are involved in the planning and strategy of the lab.
Requirements
- Bachelors of Science with successful completion of one year of internship from an accredited school of Medical Technology.
- MLS/ASCP certification - required
- Minimum of three years experience as a medical technologist
Responsibilities
- Oversees the daily operations in a laboratory.
- Manages laboratory staff.
- Ensures quality control in lab procedures and techniques.
- Handles administrative duties.
- Involved in the planning and strategy of the lab.
