This role is responsible to plan, direct, or coordinate operations and functionalities of facilities and buildings. May include surrounding grounds or multiple facilities of the organization's campus.

Requirements

  • Progressive experience in management of facilities operation in healthcare, 5-10 years preferred.
  • Knowledge and background in all aspects of Plant Operations (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire alarm, work order and building automation systems).
  • Computer proficiency required Microsoft office applications preferred with ability to learn new software.
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams with varied experiences and viewpoints
  • Work independently, be self-directed and contribute as a member of a team.
  • Anticipates challenges and develops and implements strategies for addressing them.
  • High level of service delivery
  • Demonstrate initiative with ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines and adapt to changing situations.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's Degree Related Field of Study preferred or Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study preferred
  • Journeyman Electrician [State License] - Generic - HR Only preferred
  • Master Plumber [State License] - Generic - HR Only preferred
  • HVAC Refrigeration License.

Responsibilities

  • Dispose of, or oversee the disposal of, surplus or unclaimed property.
  • Manage leasing of facility space.
  • Monitor the facility to ensure that it remains safe, secure, and well-maintained.
  • Oversee construction and renovation projects to improve efficiency and to ensure that facilities meet environmental, health, and security standards, and comply with government regulations.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Participate in architectural and engineering planning and design, including space and installation management.
  • Plan, administer, and control budgets for contracts, equipment, and supplies.
  • Prepare and review operational reports and schedules to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
