About The Position

Eaton’s Power Systems Division is seeking an Operations Manager to support Fabrication at our greenfield site in Jonesville, SC. Relocation assistance is available for candidates within the US. The expected annual salary range for this role is $130000 - $190000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. The salary information shown is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. We are building a world class operation in Jonesville, SC and we are seeking an Operations Manager to focus on employee development, Industry 4.0 initiatives, and serving customer needs. This project represents a more than $340 million investment in strengthening U.S. manufacturing and expanding the nation’s capacity to meet the growing demand for reliable electrical infrastructure. The facility will play a critical role in supporting grid modernization, increased energy capacity, and the rapid growth of data centers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Seven (7) years of experience in a manufacturing environment developing and leading strategic business initiatives and projects to improve productivity, quality, inventory, and/or financial targets.
  • Three (3) years of experience managing people.
  • Two (2) years of assembly experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all Assembly operations.
  • Manage plant Assembly operations and schedules to ensure the most effective use of personnel, materials, equipment, and other company resources.
  • Ensure timely delivery of shipments that meet cost and quality standards.
  • Plan and coordinate assembly operations while guiding customer service and supply chain schedules to effectively meet customer requirements.
  • Develop and implement manufacturing plans to support plant and division sales and inventory objectives.
  • Plan and direct the manufacturing of plant project orders through the production cycle and the support and maintenance functions related to production activities.
  • Develop the plant systems, operating schedules, and workloads to ensure the most effective and timely use of production equipment and personnel.
  • Plan and manage training, instruction, and guidance to all plant supervision and other employees as needed.
  • Plan and oversee capital equipment programs for manufacturing, facilities, and information systems.
  • Remain knowledgeable of required personnel related policies and procedures of the company and take action necessary to ensure adherence with required policies, etc.
  • Execute and support ELSS projects.
  • Develop and implement effective safety and environmental programs for the facility.
