Requirements

  • Certified Apprenticeship Certification or equivalent documented training history related to operations certification or 5 years equivalent industry experience.
  • Certified Apprenticeship Certificate or equivalent documented training history related to technical certification.
  • Experience with troubleshooting control circuits and motor starters, maintaining electrical systems, equipment and devices, knowledge of programmable logic controllers, knowledge of instrumentation such as DP/flow, pressure, temperature.
  • Experience with 4-20 ma, 3-15 PSI, RTDs, thermocouples.
  • Efficient at reading prints and electric schematics.
  • Knowledge of Safety Standards and NEC code.
  • Experience performing routine preventive maintenance on assigned machinery and equipment and check equipment for wear and possible down time to prevent major problems and emergency shutdowns.
  • Ability to communicate (read, write, and speak English) effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a consistent safe work ethic.
  • Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Able to work in small, confined spaces.
  • Must be willing and able to work in small team environments.
  • Must be willing and able to work at Wyoming Operations locations, both indoors and outdoors, in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures (sometimes extreme cold).
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a demonstrated safe driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the construction, maintenance, operations, of associated facilities.
  • Operate hand tools and related equipment to accomplish assigned tasks.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot production equipment and unit problems.
  • Read and understand facility flow and instrument drawings.
  • Isolate equipment for inspection, preventative maintenance, and repairs.
  • Perform to highest safety standards, including reporting all incidents and discrepancies.
  • Plan daily work activities in accordance with established facility guidelines.
  • Attend and complete required training courses.
  • Provides maintenance on electrical and instrumentation equipment, to OEM specifications.
  • Performs turnaround instrumentation and electrical maintenance activities and projects.
  • Provides error-free maintenance services to other departments, and peers.
  • Participate in emergency response exercises to ensure a full understanding of the process and procedures.
  • Adhere to a culture of reliability and continuous improvement.
  • Troubleshoot complex instrumentation and electrical systems.
  • Provides maintenance on mechanical process equipment, to OEM specifications.
  • Performs turnaround mechanical maintenance activities and projects.
  • Provides maintenance services to other departments.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
