This position is responsible for the safe, reliable, and environmentally responsible operation, monitoring, and routine maintenance of all equipment within the cogeneration facility. DTE Indianapolis LLC operates and maintains the Ingredion-owned facility. The O&M Technician IV is responsible for operating and maintaining two gas turbines, two heat recovery boilers, and all associated balance-of-plant equipment. This work is performed independently and under the direct supervision of the Plant Manager, and performance is evaluated based on established goals and compliance with company policies and procedures. The cogeneration facility generates electricity using two Solar Taurus 70 gas turbine generators, two heat recovery boilers, and associated balance-of-plant equipment. Plant operations are controlled through an automated PLC system using Rockwell Automation hardware and software. The O&M Technician IV performs preventive, corrective, and minor maintenance on all facility systems and plant equipment to support safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
