Requirements

Minimum 1 year leading teams preferred
Strong interpersonal skills required
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required
Some heavy lifting will be necessary
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to perform heavy manual work

Responsibilities

Assign daily work assignments to maximize operations
Work alongside employees in the performance of their duties
Assist department in meeting safety, production, and quality goals
Coordinate production activities with other departments
Assist in the development of other employees including holding them accountable and providing performance feedback to the management team
Maintain work area and equipment in clean orderly condition and follow all safety policies and procedures
Meet production quality, quantity, and safety standards on the shift
Set clear objectives and hold employees accountable
Troubleshoot production problems and lessen downtime
Train new employees and ensure equipment certifications are obtained and safety standards are followed
Keep maintenance abreast of shop equipment deficiencies and breakage
Troubleshoot production problems to minimize downtime
Direct and ensure production reports are completed for each shift
Ensure that business is conducted with the highest standards of quality and integrity
