Requirements
- Ability to read, write and understand English, including identifying numbers.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Willing and able to make decisions within the Team Leader area of responsibility (leading by example, delegating work, evaluating performance, motivating, training employees, etc.).
- Reliable transportation, flexible schedule, solid attendance and a positive, professional attitude.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team through motivation and mentoring.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in safely operating warehouse equipment (e.g. forklift, pallet jack, high reach truck).
Responsibilities
- Performing the functions and accountabilities required in the Outbound Operations Department.
- Supporting the Warehouse Management Team with training, leading and directing other warehouse personnel in the absence of management or when required to do so.
- Performing the functions and accountabilities required for the operations team.
- Supporting the Warehouse Management team with training, leading, and directing other warehouse personnel in the absence of management or when required to do so.
- Supporting the Warehouse Management Team in leading by example, motivating and inspiring the warehouse employees to maintain high performance and safety standards.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work space.
- Performing functions, accountabilities and supporting activities while complying with safety procedures, rules and regulations.
- Assisting other departments on an as needed basis.
