About The Position

The Operations Lead is a critical member of the store leadership team, responsible for driving and coaching towards profitability and efficiency. This role works closely with the Operations & Visual Manager to initiate, delegate, and provide feedback to the team, ensuring optimal results that support total store operations. The Operations Lead is expected to lead and execute inventory management processes effectively, focusing on maximizing inventory accuracy and reducing shrink. They will investigate and identify the root causes of inventory accuracy issues, partnering with the General Manager to escalate any process or system gaps. Key operational functions include managing shipment, receiving and processing, reverse transfers, sales floor recovery, intra-day sales floor replenishment, floor set updates, and supply management. The role also involves championing strong visual standards for the sales floor and supporting a safe work environment through efficient stockroom standards and processes. Additionally, the Operations Lead partners with the Operations & Visual Manager to manage reporting, budgets, expenses, inventory control, supplies, vendor relationships, technology, and facilities. They demonstrate strong business acumen by leveraging metrics to support business-driving strategies and move dynamically on the retail floor to assess and fulfill the needs of the business, team, and guests. This role directly oversees Operations Associates, including recruitment and development, and uses company performance tools to evaluate and provide feedback for individual growth. Collaboration with the Visual Lead and Sales & Service Lead ensures cross-functional training and effective business execution. The Operations Lead also executes company-level operations-focused directives and projects in partnership with the Operations & Visual Manager.

Requirements

• 2+ Years prior work experience in a client-centric, sales environment
• Proven leadership capabilities demonstrating excellent decision making

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute inventory management processes effectively with a focus on maximizing inventory accuracy and reducing shrink.

• Manage execution of key operational functions including shipment, receiving and processing, reverse transfers, sales floor recovery, intra-day sales floor replenishment, floor set updates, and supply management.
• Champion strong visual standards for the sales floor.
• Support a safe work environment and efficient operation through strong stockroom standards and processes.
• Partner with Operations & Visual Manager to manage reporting, budgets, expenses, inventory control, supplies, vendor relationships, technology, and facilities to ensure maintained and maximized.
• Demonstrate strong business acumen by leveraging metrics to support business-driving strategies.
• Move dynamically on the retail floor to assess and fulfill the needs of the business, team and guests.
• Lead by example and inspire staff in daily operations and guest experience.
• Directly oversee the Operations Associates; responsible for recruitment and development of talent.
• Use company performance tools to evaluate each operations associate and provide constant feedback to drive individual growth and improvement in partnership with the store leader.
• Collaborate with Visual Lead to ensure cross-functional training, and Sales & Service Lead to ensure the business is well-executed.
• Execute company-level operations-focused directives, projects and initiates, in partnership with the Operations & Visual Manager (e.g. from the SCC).
