About The Position

The Operations Lead is responsible for scheduling product delivery to ensure timely customer receipt, coordinating with the Regional Branch Manager, service team, and warehouse personnel to fulfill orders and complete customer service programs. This role manages logistics for shipping products based on branch and customer needs, and works with the Customer Service Department to prepare orders for pickup or delivery. The Operations Lead also closes out orders daily in the SAP system, maintains adequate inventory levels through purchasing, and oversees inventory and stocking adjustments. Additionally, this position collaborates with the Credit Department at Corporate to manage credit levels and resolve issues, works cross-functionally, provides branch-specific information, monitors and improves processes, and is available outside regular working hours for emergencies. Responsibilities also include holding safety meetings, submitting security reports, and maintaining facility standards for environment, health, and safety. The role requires closing/scanning orders daily in the system.

Requirements

  • Must be proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Microsoft Office, CRM (salesforce.com), and ERP (SAP, Other).
  • Customer Service tools
  • Warehouse operations
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • Minimum 2-5 years’ Operations experience within the manufacturing, distribution, and/or service industry.
  • Basic math skills are needed to be able to figure percentages and to verify figures.
  • Interpersonal skills needed to work with team members and provide high level customer satisfaction
  • Must be able to pass background check for finger printing and badging access to secure sites
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to sit at a desk and operate a computer and keyboard with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Must be able to stand and reach with hands and arms.
  • Must be able to climb ladders and stairs
  • Must be able to withstand both hot and cold atmosphere depending on weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA 10 certification preferred.
  • Forklift driver experience
  • Delivery driver as needed
  • Experience with SAP an asset.
  • Supervisory experience preferred, including that of warehouse associates and drivers.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience desired.
  • Entrepreneurial motivation and spirit.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule the delivery of the product to ensure our customer receives it in a timely manner.
  • Works in coordination with Regional Branch Manager, service team and the warehouse personnel to fulfill orders and to complete the service program of each customer.
  • Responsible of logistics to ship product based on the branch and customer needs.
  • Works in coordination with the Customer Service Department to get all orders ready to be picked up or delivered.
  • Close out orders in a daily basis in our SAP system.
  • Maintain ample levels of inventory to meet delivery and service expectations of all branch customers, this includes purchasing products for the branches.
  • Oversee and adjust inventory and stocking levels
  • Working closely with Credit Department at Corporate to determine appropriate credit level and resolve any credit issues.
  • Work in a cross functional environment.
  • Provide requested branch specific information and provide vital information in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and improvement of processes.
  • Be available outside regular working hours in case of emergencies within the branch as required.
  • Hold safety meetings, security reports, maintain facility per environment, health, and safety standards
  • Close out/Scan orders daily in our system.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
