About The Position

The Operations Lead is a member of the store leadership team responsible for driving and coaching profitability and efficiency. Working closely with Operations & Visual Managers, this role initiates and delegates work and provides feedback to help the team achieve optimal results across store operations. The role requires constant movement throughout the store, including the sales floor and back of house. When not assisting guests, the Operations Lead takes initiative to complete tasks that keep the store clean, safe, inviting, and operating efficiently. The Operations Lead leads inventory management and other operational functions, supports visual and stockroom standards, and partners with management on business operations and performance. The role also oversees Operations Associates, contributes to their recruitment and development, and collaborates with store leaders to execute company initiatives and deliver a strong guest experience. The position opens and closes the store in accordance with back-of-house standards.

Requirements

At least 2 years of prior work experience in a client-centric sales environment.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities and excellent decision-making.

Available for opening, closing, and weekend shifts; schedules may change.
Available to work from the week of and including Black Friday through the end of the holiday season, in the first week of January.

Responsibilities

Lead and execute inventory management processes, focusing on inventory accuracy and shrink reduction.
Investigate the root causes of inventory accuracy issues and partner with the General Manager to escalate process or system gaps.
Manage shipment, receiving and processing, reverse transfers, sales floor recovery, intra-day replenishment, floor set updates, and supply management.
Champion strong visual standards on the sales floor.
Support a safe work environment and efficient operations through strong stockroom standards and processes.
Partner with Operations & Visual Managers on reporting, budgets, expenses, inventory control, supplies, vendor relationships, technology, and facilities.
Use metrics and business acumen to support strategies that drive business results.
Move dynamically around the retail floor to assess and fulfill the needs of the business, team, and guests.
Lead by example and inspire staff in daily operations and guest experience.
Directly oversee Operations Associates and support recruitment and talent development.
Use company performance tools to evaluate Operations Associates and provide ongoing feedback in partnership with the store leader.
Collaborate with the Visual Lead on cross-functional training and with the Sales & Service Lead to support effective business execution.
Execute company-level operations directives, projects, and initiatives in partnership with the management team to achieve goals and KPIs.
Open and close the store in accordance with back-of-house standards.
