About The Position

EIS Holding, LLC, is one of the largest providers of turnkey environmental services in the country, providing soil and groundwater remediation, asbestos and lead abatement, demolition, mold remediation, and air duct cleaning. The Demolition Labor Driver will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of the demolition site by removing debris and other obstacles, operating hand tools, power tools, and equipment required for demolition, performing selective dismantling and removal of building components, safely handling and disposing of materials, and sorting and segregating materials for recycling or proper disposal. The role also involves safe driving of company vehicles to and from jobsites, hauling company trailers and equipment, and performing vehicle pre-trip inspections. Out-of-town travel is required.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years construction or demolition experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.
  • U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident Alien status or Authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Must have a clean driving record and be able to be insured on our company policy.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Basic pickup truck and trailer knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of the demolition site by removing debris and other obstacles.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment required for demolition, under proper guidance and training.
  • Perform selective dismantling and removal of building components according to project specifications.
  • Safely handle and dispose of materials, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Sort and segregate materials for recycling or proper disposal.
  • Follow standard procedures during the demolition and cleanup process.
  • Interact closely with peers and job Supervisor to complete all demolition tasks effectively and safely.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and compliance with OSHA and EPA guidelines in addition to other federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Clean tools, equipment, and work area.
  • Complete specific projects, assignments and other tasks as assigned.
  • Safe driving of company vehicles to and from jobsites.
  • Safe hauling of company trailer and equipment along with personnel.
  • Perform vehicle pre-trip prior to beginning workday.
