About The Position

Trane Technologies is offering a 12-week summer internship for students pursuing a bachelor's degree in selected disciplines. Interns will gain exposure to operational assignments that may include Lean Production, Planning Strategy, Operational Excellence, Ergonomics & Safety, Sourcing/Procurement Cycle, Material Handling, Sales Inventory Operations Planning, and Productivity Generation & Tracking. The program provides challenging assignments, leadership training, exposure to senior leaders, and networking opportunities. Participants may also have the opportunity to interview for the full-time, post-graduate Accelerated Development Program for Operations or direct-hire opportunities. The position is on-site five days per week and may require mobility and relocation anywhere in the United States.

Requirements

• Pursuing a BS/BA in Industrial Engineering, Applied Science Engineering, Industrial Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business with Supply Chain Emphasis, or Supply Chain Management.
• Cumulative overall GPA of at least 3.0.
• At least one internship or other work experience.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, such as through campus organizations, serving as a sports team captain or resident advisor, or exceptional leadership of work projects.
• U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
• Willingness to be mobile and relocate anywhere in the United States.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing business circumstances and approach problems as opportunities.
• Proactive interest in seeking new information, skills, and experiences.
• Motivation to apply learning and experience to career growth while contributing to Trane Technologies.

Responsibilities

• Work on operational assignments that may include Lean Production, Planning Strategy, Operational Excellence, Ergonomics & Safety, Sourcing/Procurement Cycle, Material Handling, Sales Inventory Operations Planning, and Productivity Generation & Tracking.
• Collaborate with others to coordinate efforts and produce results in a positive work environment.
• Apply problem-solving skills to identify underlying causes of complex operational issues.
• Evaluate alternatives and make informed decisions to achieve objectives.
