About The Position

Wilton Re’s Norwalk-based internship program is a fast-paced, 10–12-week opportunity to gain professional experience related to an intern’s field of study or career interests. Interns take part in an accelerated learning experience, apply classroom skills, develop new skills, and work on active company projects. The program also offers exposure to Wilton Re’s culture through community outreach, senior leadership, unique projects, mentors, and fellow interns. This role is based in Norwalk, Connecticut, and follows a hybrid schedule with three days in person and two days working from home. The position pays $20.00–$30.00 per hour. The internship is expected to run from the beginning of June to mid-August, with full-time availability required.

Requirements

Be a rising junior or senior.
Attend a four-year university and pursue a bachelor’s-level degree.

Responsibilities

Lead a project from start to finish, using problem-solving, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills to navigate challenges and achieve successful outcomes.
Develop and maintain the project plan and action-items tracker.
Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, document decisions, and track follow-up items.
Use Excel and SQL to analyze assigned topics, organize and evaluate data, identify trends and insights, and support informed decisions.
Review and organize existing process documentation, identify unclear information, and help ensure procedures are consistent.
