Requirements

  • Able to work 20-40 hrs/week on-site at our Assembly Square office in Somerville, MA.
  • Bias for action, flexibility, adaptability, and strong time management skills.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and take a solution-oriented approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and move items up to 25 lbs.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently carry out and present projects to the team and company.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Clear, effective written and verbal communication.
  • Excited about finding ways to adopt new technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot issues and handle office projects, including building, moving, and setting up equipment around HQ.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and fully stocked office space.
  • Monitor the Operations Jira board and inbox, responding to requests.
  • Manage inventory and ordering for snacks, food, and office supplies.
  • Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages.
  • Source, procure, and maintain office equipment.
  • Support workplace culture initiatives such as town halls, happy hours, and team events.
  • Help create a welcoming and productive environment for all employees.
  • Support hardware fulfillment.
