About The Position

Kids in the Game is seeking an Operations Intern with a strong background in planning and organization to support their Operations team. This role is both on the ground at programs managing equipment and in the office researching and planning. The intern will help ensure program sites have the necessary materials to provide effective programming for children across New York City, contributing to a supportive, safe, and fun environment. Kids in the Game is a Certified B Corporation committed to positive impact through sports and creative play, aiming to enhance emotional intelligence, create a positive sense of self, develop NYC as a talent hub, and integrate communities.

Requirements

A current college student or recent college graduate looking to gain valuable operations experience in a rapidly growing startup environment.
Must be detail-oriented and have a strong sense of organization.
Has experience in Excel, Google Suite, and inventory management systems.
Must be willing and able to travel throughout NYC (Bronx, Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn) with equipment.
Must be able to lift 50+ lbs over your head.
Communicates clearly and concisely with strong oral and written communication skills.
Self-motivated and able to multitask.

Nice To Haves

Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

Use EZ Office Inventory Management System to input and organize asset stocks
Assist with Department of Health compliance documentation for School Aged Child Care licensed schools
Organize and create site binders for school year programs
Organize, pack, and distribute equipment during school year and summer camp transitions
Complete research projects on IT services and cybersecurity
